How does it work?
Eighty percent of our brain’s sensory and motor control function is devoted to our hands. LSP takes advantage of this truth and taps into what is called a “hand-mind” connection, where your hands guide you to insights that are deeper than you thought possible.

LEGO® bricks are used as a medium to build and to express complex ideas through storytelling and metaphors. They create a level playing field and act as a mediator among participants, allowing people to overcome hierarchies and create a dynamic and inclusive culture of shared understanding and shared values.
As a workshop designer and facilitator of the LEGO® Serious Play® Method, I harvest the collective and individual intelligence of couples, families, teams and organizations by asking specific questions. Participants then answer those questions by building models that bring insights and perspectives to issues that would be difficult to communicate simply by talking, writing, or thinking.

The Lego® Serious Play® Method started in the land of Lego, Denmark. It’s been used worldwide in places such as Harvard Business School, Stanford, and Fortune 100 companies, and it’s becoming popular in the U.S. as a powerful consulting method to solve problems, explore ideas, and achieve objectives based on management theory using a toy.

LSP adapts in endless ways, so that every workshop is custom-made depending on the objectives and needs, whether solving a brewing crisis, brainstorming to transform a business model, or using the methodology as a strategic coaching tool.

Monica is as effective as she is delightful. She’s one of those people who walks into a room and you immediately feel good. It is clear, from the moment you meet her, that she practices what she preaches. Her workshops have been invaluable to me. Monica helped me define what is important to me and how to show up authentically, not only in my work but throughout the day. I am working on launching a new business now and her guidance in doing the deep work of finding my purpose gave me clarity, much-needed optimism, and the confidence to get it done! She is a gift. In short, I am a fan. You will be too.

Monica facilitated a Lego LSP workshop for me and my family. It was a great experience as Monika was able to lead us in learning more about ourselves and our family dynamics through building legos and answering questions about what we had built. Our teenage son and preteen daughter were engaged in the process and enjoyed building with the legos. I would recommend this for any family wanting to understand themselves and their family dynamics better.
